To use Wurth Engine Cleaner & Degreaser, the engine needs to be turned off and cool to the touch. Cover electrical components, the carburetor throat, and the distributor with plastic or aluminum foil. Remove the air filter. Spray the engine and related parts generously. Avoid overspray on paint and plastics. (If this occurs, just rinse off the overspray.) Allow the cleaner to penetrate the intended areas for 10-15 minutes and rinse clean with water. Wurth Engine Cleaner & Degreaser can be used on all types of engines, including marine, automotive, tractor, and lawnmower engines.
