|Wurth Clear Lacquer|
|The finishing touch for repainted German alloy wheels.|
Brake dust is a common problem on any vehicle, but especially on German-built vehicles. German brake pads contain graphite, the same mineral used in pencil lead. While it gives German cars their great stopping power, graphite flakes when exposed to friction, especially with aggressive driving. These flakes, or brake dust, can scratch and dull alloy wheels over time. Eventually they will require refinishing or replacing.
Wurth, a German company, created a two-part system to restore alloy wheels damaged by brake dust accumulation. Step one is Wurth Silver Lacquer Spray Paint. Step two is Wurth High Gloss Clear Lacquer to replace the metallic shine of your alloy wheels.
Wurth High Gloss Clear Lacquer is formulated to match the original factory luster of your wheels. It is a permanent lacquer, not a dressing. After you have repainted your wheels and allowed them to completely dry, spray Wurth High Gloss Lacquer in light, sweeping strokes over the entire wheel face. Apply two or three coats for the best protection of your silver paint and the most attractive shine.
Though Wurth High Gloss Lacquer was created for German alloy wheels, it can be used on any alloy wheels. Just be sure to clean the wheel thoroughly before painting or lacquering it.
After repainting your damaged wheels with Wurth Silver Lacquer Spray Paint, apply Wurth High Gloss Clear Lacquer to restore the original, high impact shine to your alloy wheels.
