The System One Pro Kit is built around System One X3 Cutting Polish. This single polish performs like a compound or a polish depending on your pad selection. Speaking of pads, the kit also includes the System One Cutting/Finishing Pad. These two products are all you need to correct and perfect all types of paint. A handy carrying case lets you carry your polishing kit from job to job.
The included pad and adapter work with a rotary polisher. An included DVD shows you how to get awesome results using the System One Pro Kit.

32 oz. System One X3 Cutting Polish
System One X3 Cutting Polish performs every step of the polishing process. To change its performance, simply use a different pad. The pad’s cut determines how aggressively or how gently System One X3 Cutting Polish cuts the paint. The secret to System One X3 Cutting Polish is its uniform, small abrasives. These are not diminishing abrasives. They start small to deliver consistent polishing action to the paint until the imperfections disappears. Because the abrasives are so small, they do not leave the micro-marring associated with heavy compounds. Use a wool pad for powerful leveling. Use a soft foam pad for final polishing. You’ll be amazed at the versatility of System One X3 Cutting Polish!
System One 8 Inch Cutting/Finishing Pad
The System One 8 Inch Cutting/Finishing Pad has blended wool on one side for cutting rough, oxidized paint. On the other side, soft foam polishes the paint to a bright gloss. The wave texture allows heat to escape from under the pad to prevent burning of the paint. This pad does it all! The System One 8 Inch Cutting/Finishing Pad is made by The Edge 2000. The pad utilizes The Edge’s Quick Connect System to make pad changes a snap.
System One Rotary Drive Adapter
The System One Center Drive Adapter has a 5/8 inch thread. It screws onto your rotary polisher and works like a quick connect for the pad. Pop the Cutting/Finishing Pad onto the spring-loaded adapter. Press the quick release button on the bottom of the adapter to remove the pad. The adapter keeps the pad perfectly balanced at all times and it’s virtually impossible for the pad to come off the adapter while the polisher is in use. The adapter is chrome-plated solid brass with a stainless steel internal release mechanism.
System One 16 x 16 inch Microfiber Towel
Soft and nonabrasive, System One’s Microfiber Cloth is safe on any automotive surface. Use it to remove the polish residue and buff the paint to a deep shine. Microfiber is made of polyester and polyamide threads that just a fraction the thickness of a human hair. The threads are woven to form a material that’s softer and more durable than terry cloth or chamois.

There’s no guesswork with System One – your vehicle is too important for that. The System One Traning DVD walks you through the System One process step by step.
System One Sponge
You can use the sponge for a final hand application of System One, which will act like a gentle finishing polish. Dark colored vehicles may need a third polishing step; on light colors, you can go straight to wax application in most cases. The sponge can be used for wax application if desired.
Plastic Storage Case
The plastic case is a great way for mobile detailers to transport System One from job to job. When you’re not detailing the case keeps all your polishing supplies in one place. The case will also keep the Cutting/Finishing Pad clean between details.

- Make sure the
vehicle is clean, dry, and relatively cool to the touch.
- To compound, use a
wool cutting pad on your rotary polisher. To polish, use a foam polishing
pad.
- Apply a quarter-size
amount to the paint. System One X3 is a gel that clings to vertical
surfaces. Use sparingly.
- Set your polisher
maximum speed at 1500 rpm. For wool, maintain a speed
between 1000 and 1200 rpm. With a foam pad, you can work up to 1,500 rpm if needed.
- Work the polish
until the paint appears glossy.
- Buff the paint with
a microfiber towel.
- If you’ve used a
wool pad, you should switch to a foam polishing pad in order to polish the
paint to a deeper gloss. Repeat the same process.
