CC Spot Buffs are the best way to tackle small problem areas on your vehicle without the hassle of polishing your whole vehicle. With pads measuring only 4”, you can smooth out a scratch or polish your bumper with more control. Polishing your metal trim to a classy shine is a breeze. Just attach the Spot Buffs backing plate and adapter to your electric drill or your polisher with an appropriate pad and you’re ready to go!
CCS Spot Buff Pads are available in different levels of abrasiveness, like traditional polishing pads, and feature a variable contact surface. Quality foam and Velcro-like hook and loop backing make these just as good as larger pads, but perfectly sized for small jobs.
The CCS Spot Buffs Kit offers you every Spot Buff pad plus a dual action adapter, a drill adapter, and 2 microfiber towels. You’ll be prepared for any small detailing job with this 10-piece kit. CCS Spot Buffs are manufactured by Lake Country Manufacturing. All pads feature Velcro® brand hook & loop fasteners to secure the pad to the backing plate.

The CCS Spot Buffs Kit includes…
2 CCS Orange Light Cutting Foam 4" Pad
This is an excellent, high density foam with light cutting power. It works well for applying microfine compounds and smoothing scratches and swirls. You’ll want to try this pad first before using the yellow pad; you always want to use the least abrasive pad necessary for the job.
2 CCS White Polishing Foam 4" Pad
This flat pad features high absorption foam for the application of waxes, polishes and sealants. This pad has very little cutting power and works well for application purposes. It’s made of soft, porous foam so it’s gentle on your paint. It’s also perfect for polishing metal wheels, bumpers, and mirror covers.
1 Gray Finishing Foam 4" Pad
Composition is firm enough to withstand added pressure during final finishing to remove buffer swirls, but it is gentle enough to buff your vehicle to an attractive luster. Use with machine glaze or finishing polish.
1 CCS Blue All Purpose Foam 4” Pad
This is a multi-purpose pad used for applying glazes, polishes, and waxes. It’s made of closed-cell foam that will distribute a thin, even layer. The foam has no cut and is dense enough to spread paste waxes.
2 - 16 x 16 inch Cobra Microfiber Towels
The Cobra Microfiber Towel is spun from an 80/20 polyester/polyamide blend, producing a highly refined microfiber. The microscopic polyester/polyamide fibers are split with a unique process that creates a “feathered” weave on one side for buffing and looped fibers on the other side, which are excellent for cleaning. This superior “feather” weave results in far greater absorption properties in a virtually lint free network of fibers.
1 Velcro 2 ¾” Backing Plate
You must have this backing plate in order to use Spot Buffs. Designed just like larger backing plates, this plate has Velcro firmly adhered to one side so you can change pads quickly. At only 2 ¾”, this plate leaves a generous edge on the 4” pads to avoid accidental contact with the paint. Attach this plate directly to your circular polisher or use the adapters included in this kit to attach it to your dual action polisher or drill.
1 DA Adapter
This adapter is required to attach your 2 ¾” backing plate to your dual action polisher. Tighten adapter into polisher with a wrench.
1 Drill Adapter
This adapter allows you to use Spot Buffs with your variable speed electric drill. Tighten adapter into backing plate with a wrench.
2 oz. Cobra Quik Clenz Pad Cleaner
Wash used foam and wool pads in Cobra Quik Clenz Pad Cleaner. Dissolve this 2 oz. packet into 2-3 gallons of water. Soak pads and microfiber tools in the solution for up to 15 minutes and agitate if necessary. The citrus cleaner quickly breaks up oily residues within foam and wool to restore the texture of the pads. Let the pads air dry, backing side up.

To clean pads by hand use the Cobra Quik Clenz Pad Cleaner. Mix one ounce of this citrus cleaner with 3-4 gallons of water. Allow the pads to soak for up to 15 minutes. Agitate them using a Foam Pad Conditioning Brush. When the pads appear clean, rinse them in clean water and allow them to air dry.
