Does your Porter Cable 7424 polisher wobble? Does it seem to pull to one side or vibrate too much? If your finish is not quite uniform in shine or products do not go on evenly, your polisher may be unbalanced. The problem is easily corrected with a counterweight.
This weight screws into the eccentric housing on the motor, just above where the backing plate connects. The half-moon shaped weight spins with the pad to correct any excessive vibration or wobbling. The result is smoother, easier use and a more even finish on your vehicle.
These counterweights are for use with a 6” backing plate only.
