Average tire dressings teach us a good lesson about centrifugal force. As your tires spin, a dressing on the tire’s surface will migrate outward, causing sling-off. The same thing is going on inside your washing machine when its on the spin cycle. While this force is great for removing the excess water from our laundry, it is the worst enemy of any tire dressing. That’s because many tire dressings are silicone-based and therefore will not absorb into the rubber. They sit on top and get slung onto your side panels when the vehicle is in motion.

If your tires are filthy, clean them with a tire brush and a more potent cleaner, like Wolfgang Tire and Wheel Cleaner. Then apply Bold N Bright with a tire dressing applicator. Apply a second thin coat for a higher gloss.
