Intricate wheels have 3 types of surface area: the outer rim, the tubular spokes, and the underlying surface area behind the spokes. Brake dust and road grime accumulate differently on these surfaces and this brush is built to tackle the individual challenges.  The cone shaped body of the brush is made up of four individual spiral brushes. Each brush is constructed of durable, twisted double wire securely holding thousands of soft nylon bristles. These individual brushes can be pulled apart creating a wheel brush that fits the openings in your wheel specifically. The tip of the brush is capped with a rubber boot packed with stiff nylon scrubbing bristles. The combination of blunt and angle cut bristle shafts creates a full, rounded, very effective scrubbing tip.
The tough blue scrub head easily, yet gently, removes caked-on, baked-on brake dust and road soot from exterior and interior wheel surfaces. The softer, compact sides of the cone get in and around spokes.
 The contoured handle is an OXO trademark. It gives you a comfortable, non slip grip that allows you to apply pressure to the brush without straining your hand. The lightweight handle flares just below the brush base to protect your hand from grime and scrapes.
