| | Original Wenol (red) | | An aggressive polish for bare metal surfaces!
Wenol was developed in Germany 30 years ago and has since become a favorite in American households. Nothing is better for cleaning tarnished silverware and cookware. But the U.S. Air Force also uses Wenol to polish to leading edges of wings on their state-of-the-art aircraft. Auto detailing professionals and hobbyists love the shine Wenol gives bumpers, wheels, and grills. Motorcyclists use Wenol to clean tarnish and discoloration from their bikes. There is no limit to the uses of Wenol metal polishes!
Wenol polish comes in two varieties: red and blue. Wenol in the red box is a tough polish that powers through oxidation, rust, and tarnish on bare metal. It’s so tough, it is not suitable for coated metals. Use it on neglected rough cast aluminum, brass, copper, silver, and gold. Do not use on silver or gold-plated surfaces. Wenol contains no abrasives and will not scratch metal. But it will attack pitted, stained metal chemically. Wenol will quickly remove blemishes and restore an attractive shine to badly damaged metal.
Red Wenol is not intended for coated or anodized aluminum. If you’re not sure if your wheels are coated, apply some polish and rub. If no black residue appears, the surface is coated. In order to polish coated wheels, you have to strip the coating from them. The stripper required for this is extremely powerful and should not be used by the casual hobbyist.
To use either Wenol, apply a small amount to a polishing cloth and rub the surface briskly. For stubborn imperfections, rub longer, not harder.
Wenol has been awarded “Manufacturer of the Year” from the prestigious International Show Car Association, Pacific Division. It is a staple on the car show circuit for its ease of use and remarkable results.
No matter what your metal problem, Wenol can handle it with one of their premium polishes. People from all walks of life have found interesting uses for these polishes, from restoring antiques to cleaning sophisticated military equipment. Depend on Wenol for outstanding metal polishing and restoration.
