Optimum's wool pad holds less heat, doesn't lint, and still corrects paint like a wool pad should.
Optimum 100% Twisted Wool 8 Inch Single-Sided Pads are designed to work with Optimum Hyper Polish Spray. The spray compound coats the wool pad evenly with abrasive particles to avoid the haze that results when you buff with a partially dry pad. The twisted wool has more cutting power than non-twisted wool, so the pad is capable of removing heavy swirls, deep scratches, and oxidation. The whole process is made much cleaner by the fact that Optimum 100% Twisted Wool 8 Inch Single-Sided Pads do not shed lint and Optimum Hyper Compound Spray does not dust!
Plus, Optimum 100% Twisted Wool 8 Inch Single-Sided Pads run cooler than most wool pads. You should still take every precaution and keep the polisher moving at all times, but with these pads, you're less likely to burn the paint.
Optimum 100% Twisted Wool 8 Inch Single-Sided Pads help you get the results you want faster! These pads leave fewer compounding swirls than conventional wool pads, particular when used with Optimum Hyper Compound Spray. The combination of soft twisted wool and small abrasives remove paint imperfections without cutting too deeply. Use Optimum Hyper Polish Spray and an Optimum Red Finishing Single-Sided Pad to polish out any remaining swirls or haze.
Optimum 100% Twisted Wool 8 Inch Single-Sided Pads attach to a rotary polisher using a 7 inch hook and loop backing plate. A centering hole in each pad enables you to perfectly align the pad on the backing plate.
