The hair found in these brushes is from a more mature boar than the hair used in Montana Original Wash Brushes. The older hairs are slightly stiffer and therefore more effective at removing tough road grime and brake dust. Yet the bristles are still gentle enough to clean coated metal without scratching.
The hairs are thoroughly cleaned before being bundled and adhered to the handle. The white bristles allow you to see all the black brake dust and grime coming off your wheels.
Each brush is packed with hundreds of hairs permanently glued to a molded plastic handle. Plastic handles withstand frequent exposure to water, unlike wooden handles. You can be sure you’ll have these brushes a long, long time.

Short Handle Boar’s Hair Wheel Brush – 8 ½ inch heavy duty plastic handle. The short handle gives you extra leverage where it’s needed.
Long Handle Boar’s Hair Wheel Brush – 20 inch heavy duty plastic handle. This makes a wonderful fender well brush. Clean around the tires without getting your hands dirty!
For the best results, use a water-based wheel cleaner, such as DP Gel Wheel Cleaner. Because the cleaner is not acidic, it will not eat into the wheel finish. Gentle agitation with a Montana Original Boar’s Hair Wheel Brush will release brake dust and grime from the wheel surface so it rinses away easily.
