The Menzerna Porter Cable XP Ceramic 5.5 Inch Polishing Pad Kit combines the safe operation of the Porter Cable 7424XP with the leveling power of Menzerna polishes. But the secret is smaller, low profile foam pads. This kit is built for speedy swirl removal on all paints, including today's hard ceramic and high solids paints.
Smart Pads™ 5.5 inch Professional Foam Pads are manufactured by Lake Country Manufacturing, the maker of premium polisher pads and accessories. Designed specifically for dual action polishers, these pads are made of dense, closed cell foam that will not deteriorate as you polish. The smaller size of the pads enables them to move more easily over the paint with the full range of motion provided by the Porter Cable. This results in faster, more complete defect removal.

32 oz. Menzerna Super Intensive Polish PO 83
Super Intensive Polish is the most aggressive of Menzerna's ceramic clear coat polishes, capable of removing 2000 grit sanding scratches. Though this is a powerful polish, Menzerna Super Intensive Polish produces virtually no dust or haze. The polish contains a high concentration of small abrasives, which allows the polish to work cleaner. The tiny abrasives blend away imperfections using consistent abrasive action, meaning the hundreds of abrasives are repeatedly passing over the blemish to gradually eliminate it. The results are smooth, glossy, haze-free paint.
32 oz. Menzerna Super Finish Nano Polish PO 106 FA
Menzerna Super Finish Nano Polish PO 106 FA utilizes a new family of abrasives developed by Menzerna to level imperfections and restore a mirror-like gloss to ceramic clear coats as well as conventional clear coats. The abrasives are milled to fine powder that burnishes the paint to a mirror-like shine without introducing swirls or micro-marring. Super Finish Nano Polish PO 106 FA is capable of removing 2500 grit sanding scratches, haze from compounding, light swirls, and mild oxidation while restoring a glassy, smooth shine.
Porter Cable 7424XP Variable Speed Polisher
This more rugged 4.5 amp polisher has 100-percent ball bearing construction. The spiral and bevel gearing provides for smooth operation and efficient transfer of power. A variable speed dial sets the orbit rate between 2,500 and 6,800 orbits per minute - that's a 13% higher peak speed than the original Porter Cable 7424! Thanks to the higher orbit rate and the 4.5 amp motor, the Porter Cable 7424XP Polisher is capable of removing swirls, oxidation, and scratches at a faster rate. Even though this polisher is great for polishing, its safe, orbital motion is perfect for wax and paint sealant application. This machine works with all the same pads and backing plates as the original Porter Cable 7424. The polisher includes a wrench, counterweight, and operating manual.
Dual Action 5 Inch HD Hook & Loop Backing Plate
This material is flexible yet incredibly durable. This plate will last through countless, rigorous uses without falling apart or becoming unbalanced. These pad are great for the Porter Cable 7424 because it has a generous lip. Even if you turn the pad onto its side accidentally, there is an inch of soft, beveled urethane between the edge of the plate and the inner construction. The threaded post fits any polisher with a 5/16” diameter.
1 Foamed Wool 6.5 inch Polishing/Buffing Pad
Foamed Wool from Lake Country uses a patented process whereby microscopic polyfoam particles encapsulate the base of the wool pad. The Foamed Wool is tighter and denser than regular wool pads. This enables these pads to stand up to the stress of polishing better than regular wool pads with less caking and matting. The encapsulation process used when manufacturing Foamed Wool Pads locks the lambswool fbers into place to significantly reduce linting. The vehicle's paint surface will stay cleaner as you use your polisher and there will be less mess to clean up when you’re finished polishing.
2 Orange 5.5 inch Light Cutting Foam Pad
Firm, high density foam for scratch and defect removal. Use this pad with polishes and swirl removers. It’s an all around pad that will work on most light to moderate imperfections.
2 White 5.5 inch Polishing Foam Pad
High absorption foam formula for the application of waxes, micro-fine polishes and sealants. This pad has very light cutting power so its perfect for pre-wax cleaners.
1 Red 5.5 inch UltraSoft Wax/Sealant Foam Pad
The soft, red foam is ideal for applying the final coat of wax or sealant. The foam works especially well when applying liquid waxes or sealants because it is firm enough to keep the majority of the product on the paint, rather than soaking it up. The red foam has no cut or cleaning ability.
3 Packs of Cobra Quik Clenz Pad Cleaner
Wash used foam and wool pads in Cobra Quik Clenz Pad Cleaner. Dissolve this 2 oz. packet into 2-3 gallons of water. Soak pads and microfiber tools in the solution for up to 15 minutes and agitate if necessary. The citrus cleaner quickly breaks up oily residues within foam and wool to restore the texture of the pads. Let the pads air dry, backing side up
2 Cobra White Microfiber Towels, 16 x 16 inches
Super soft and absorbent, these 70/30 towels are perfect for buffing off waxes, polishes or sealants. Tiny looped fibers polish your paint to a beautiful shine while the woven core absorbs an incredible amount of fluid. These towels have an amazing "grip" to remove even the most stubborn wax residues. Microfiber construction eliminates the risk of micro-marring.
