The Meguiars W66 "Easy Buff" Rotary Backing Plate is part of Meguiars Solo One-Liquid System. This system is made for body shop and refinishing professionals to get flawless results with their rotary polishers. A central component of the Solo System is the Meguiars W66 "Easy Buff" Rotary Backing Plate.
This unique backing plate has thick, dense foam between the hook and loop face and the threaded connector. This foam gives the backing plate superior flexibility compared to solid urethane plates. The foam also distributes pressure more evenly across the pad. You’ll experience smoother buffing and fewer swirls.
The Meguiars W66 "Easy Buff" Rotary Backing Plate works with any rotary polisher with a 5/8” -11 spindle thread.
The Meguiars W66 "Easy Buff" Rotary Backing Plate is made to be used with the Meguiars Solo 7 inch foam and wool pads, though all 7-7.5 inch pads with hook and loop fasteners can be used.
