On light colored finishes you may be able to go straight to wax application after using Meguiars Medium-Cut Cleaner #1. That’s because the abrasive cut quickly and then break down into a fine polish. It’s like a built-in finishing polish!
Meguiars Medium-Cut Cleaner #1 should be applied with a rotary polisher to maximize the performance of the polish. The heat and speed of the rotary polisher will help break down the abrasives to give you a smoother finish. We recommend a light cutting pad to get the desired results.
If necessary, follow up with Meguiars Professional Machine Glaze #2 to remove any light compounding swirls and restore maximum gloss prior to wax application.
