Meguiars Boat Wash is designed specifically to clean fiberglass boats. Fiberglass is coated with a gel coat, which is different from the clear coat on your car. Gel coat is harder because it has to stand up to tougher conditions, but that doesn’t make it resistant to contamination. Use a natural sea sponge or a chenille wash mitt to gently wash your boat.
Just add one capful of soap per gallon of water and wash as usual. Rinse thoroughly with free-flowing water. Dry the washed surface with a large Cobra Microfiber Waffle-Weave Towel and then polish using Meguiar’s #45 Marine/RV Polish. Follow up with a coat of Meguiar’s #56 Boat/RV Wax.
