Even the best paint sealant can’t protect your vehicle from flying debris. Unfortunately, paint chips and scratches are a fact of life. The good news is that you can repair those blemishes without a polisher, without special tools, and, most importantly, without a professional! The reason that home repair jobs never look as good as a professional job is because the pros have The Blob Eliminator by LANGKA. This magic potion has been a well-kept secret in body shops for years, but you can now use it at home for the same flawless results!
The Blob Eliminator works by softening the blob of paint that forms over a repaired chip or scratch. Due to the thick consistency of touch-up paint, it dries as a bubble that stands above the surrounding paint. The Blob Eliminator allows you to wipe away the blob so the new paint is flush with the surrounding area. The chip or scratch will disappear!
Use The Blob Eliminator with your vehicle’s touch-up paint, which is available from the dealership or from a auto parts store. Apply the touch-up paint to the chip or scratch. Allow it to dry for several hours up to 4 days. To properly use this product, you will need a plastic card or similar item that can be used to shave off the top portion of paint. To do this, wrap the card in a soft cloth, like an old t-shirt or pillow case. Pull the fabric taut and twist the excess fabric behind the card so that the fabric is smooth against one side of the card. Pour a generous amount of The Blob Eliminator onto the wrapped card and rub it back and forth across the paint blob. Rub lightly. Reduce your pressure when the paint begins to appear on the cloth. Rub until the blob is gone.
 An alternate method involves applying the paint and leveling the excess paint immediately. This will smear it on each side of the chip. Use The Blob Eliminator to clean the surrounding paint. With this method, the paint may shrink as it dries and subsequent coats may be necessary.
The Blob Eliminator is part of the LANGKA Complete Paint Chip Repair Kit. It can be purchased here as a refill for the kit or to use by itself with your touch-up paint. Pre-clean the blemish with a water and alcohol mixture and then seal the treated area when you’re finished.
After using The Blob Eliminator, the repaired scratches and chips will be invisible! Remember, this type of product has been used in body shops for years. You can now achieve those same professional results at home!
