The ULTI-MIT is made of soft, high quality foam that is cut into a grid pattern of tabs. The foam tabs work like the fibers of a sheepskin mitt – they massage the paint to release dirt and grime. This dirt is pushed into the channels where it will not scratch the paint.
The unique foam of the ULTI-MIT does not trap dirt. It actually sheds dirt so you can easily rinse the mitt to avoid cross-contamination. The ULTI-MIT is 100% foam on both sides so the entire mitt acts as a sponge, soaking up plenty of sudsy water to provide lubrication. The red mitt is made of a soft finishing foam by Lake Country. It is completely nonabrasive and soft to the touch. The foam is dense enough to maintain its shape when wet, but porous enough to soak up a lot of lubricating wash water. Both sides of the mitt are made of red foam.
ULTI-MIT Yellow Scrubber Wheel Mitt
The ULTI-MIT Scrubber Wheel Mitt has the same great design with coarser foam that’s perfect for gently scrubbing wheels. The ULTI-MIT Scrubber Wheel Mitt safely cleans the wheel face and the foam tabs surround wire spokes to remove brake dust. The flexible foam mitt gives you great access between spokes. This yellow foam by Lake Country is not the same as their cutting foam. The ULTI-MIT Scrubber Wheel Mitt is safe on chrome, aluminum, clear coated and painted wheels.
