Lubricates your detailing clay to remove surface contaminants safely!
Clay bars clean better than soap! Clay bars work quickly to pull contaminants out of the surface of your vehicle’s paint to leave a smooth-as-glass finish. To work properly, all clays require a lubricant. Soapy water will work in a pinch but it provides only minimal paint protection and the detergents in some soaps can break down the clay causing it to disintegrate.
Four Star Clay Lubricant is designed to work with all clay bars, natural or synthetic. Four Star Clay Lubricant creates a microscopic, slick barrier between the paint and the clay cleaning material. The high lubricity formula prevents loosened contamination from scratching delicate clear coat finishes. This specially formulated lubricant will not break down or degrade the integrity of the clay.
To purify your paint, mist a small area (2 sq. ft.) of the vehicle and rub Four Star Ultimate Detailing Clay over the surface. The clay will "grab" at first. Continue lightly rubbing the clay over the surface until it moves freely. When the bar moves freely, the surface is clean. Wipe off any residue with a towel and proceed to the next area.
Four Star Ultimate Clay Lubricant also removes any residue the clay may leave behind. Just mist the area you’ve just clayed and wipe clean with a Cobra Microfiber Towel. Moisten the clay bar with the lubricant before storing it in its plastic case.
Once your vehicle is clayed, apply a coat of Four Star Ultimate Paint Protection. Because the paint is completely clean, the gloss and slickness of the sealant will be enhanced. Always reapply paint protection after claying.
