Spot polish your car to perfection with the Foamed Wool 3.5 inch Buffing/Polishing Pad. This synthetic wool pad has foam particles at the base of the wool fibers to enhance the pad’s thickness and durability, while preventing caking and matting of the wool.
The Foamed Wool 3.5 inch Buffing/Polishing Pad is made by Lake Country. Their patented encapsulation process surrounds the base of the wool in foam particles. This process makes the wool fibers stand up more by filling in any space between fibers. The wool feels thicker, denser, and softer than a conventional wool pad.
Foamed Wool also creates tiny air pockets at the base of the wool fibers. This is essentially trapped air that improves the cushioning provided by the pad and the retention of compounds and polishes. Just like the cells of foam absorb products, these minute air pockets retain products so none is wasted.
Foamed Wool 3.5 inch Buffing/Polishing Pads are capable of removing 1500-2000 grit scratches, leaving a smooth finish with no hazing and few, if any, compounding swirls.
Use the Foamed Wool 3.5 inch Buffing/Polishing Pad with your dual action polisher, circular (rotary) polisher, or an electric variable speed drill.
On a circular polisher, use the 2-3/4 Hook & Loop Backing Plate to attach the pad to your machine. Work at a speed of 1000-1200 rpm.
On a dual action polisher, use the 2-3/4 Hook & Loop Backing Plate. Work at a speed of 5 or 6.
On a variable speed drill, use the Spot Buffs Drill Adapter and 2-3/4 Hook & Loop Backing Plate. Work at a speed between 1000-1200 rpm.
