If you’re in search of a solution to your absolute worst paint problems, look no further! Cyclo 4 inch Light Cutting Wool Pads are excellent at leveling pitted, rough paint as well as polishing oxidized metal.
Cyclo’s 4 inch Light Cutting Wool Pads are made of a tough wool/poly blend that can stand up to your worst paint imperfections. Wool pads, by nature, are more aggressive than foam. These pads fall somewhere between Cyclo’s Yellow Cutting Pad and their Yellow Scrubbing Pad. Wool should not be used on like-new paint finishes.
After using wool pads, you will need to follow up with a light cutting pad and then a polishing pad to gradually restore gloss and smoothness to the paint. Optimum’s Hyper Compound followed by Optimum Polish is a great combination of products for use with wool pads.
Cyclo 4 inch Light Cutting Wool Pads attach to your Cyclo Orbital Polisher with hook & loop backing. Just press the pads to the Pad Holders (sold separately) and begin polishing. The wool pads are washable and reusable.
Wash wool pads using Snappy Clean. The strong citrus cleaner breaks up compounds and rejuvenates the wool’s texture. Pour one packet of powder into a 5 gallon bucket of water and soak the wool pads for up to 15 minutes. Agitate with a brush if necessary. Rinse thoroughly and air dry.
