Forever Black Black-Top is a black pigmented dye formulated to restore color to faded vinyl convertible tops, bimini tops, and tonneaus. The gel formula goes on easily and creates a rich, black finish instantly. Even if your convertible top has suffered years of UV degradation, Forever Black Black-Top will make it look like new!
Forever Black Black-Top is not a dressing. It is a black dye infused with UV protectants and polymers. The polymers create a long-lasting, water-repellant finish while the UV protectants maintain the color for up to one year. Once the dye dries, it will not wash or sling off. Forever Black Black-Top is a long-term remedy for faded vinyl tops.
Forever Black Black-Top is completely safe on vinyl. The water-based, environmentally friendly formula contains no silicone or oil. These ingredients can dry the vinyl and cause it to attract dust. A top treated with Forever Black Black-Top retains its suppleness and the non-glossy finish does not attract dust.
To further maintain the look and feel of vinyl tops, use a convertible top protectant regularly such as RaggTopp Vinyl Protectant. Regular maintenance will maintain the color and texture of your convertible top longer.
Only use Forever Black Black-Top on a black vinyl top. It is not intended to dye tops of other colors and it is not intended for fabric tops.
To use Forever Black Black-Top, first clean the convertible top well with RaggTopp Convertible Top Cleaner. Once the top is dry, use the included foam applicator to apply a thin, even coat over the entire top. Allow 15 minutes to dry. Wipe off any drips from paint windows and trim with a damp towel. Be sure to use an old towel and wear old clothes since Forever Black Black-Top will stain fabrics.
