Press the release button on the can and step back. Close the door and wait about 5 minutes. When you open the door, the initial scent is strong, but it will fade quickly. Roll down the windows or open all the doors to ventilate the passenger cabin. After about 5 minutes, the scent will have faded enough that you can comfortably sit in the vehicle.
