This gentle wash is biodegradable and gel coat safe!
You wouldn’t believe what lives on your boat! Microscopic organisms and algae are found in fresh and salt water. They float around until they land on something, like your boat. These tiny organisms can actually get into the pores of the gel coat and leave lasting stains. Washing your boat regularly is the only way to prevent algae from becoming a permanent part of your boat’s hull.
Meguiars M5416 Mirror Glaze Boat/RV Gel Wash #54 is designed specifically to clean fiberglass boats and RVs. Fiberglass is coated with a gel coat, which is different from the clear coat on your car. Many RV owners find that the gel coat is not as durable as a clear coat so they elect to get their RVs clear coated. Likely, the gel coat would have held up better if it was cleaned with products made especially for gel coats, like Meguiars M5416 Mirror Glaze Boat/RV Gel Wash #54. Meguiars M5416 Mirror Glaze Boat/RV Gel Wash #54 is extra gentle in order to preserve the gel coat for as long as possible.
Meguiars M5416 Mirror Glaze Boat/RV Gel Wash #54 produces lots of rich suds in order to lubricate and protect the gel coat from loose contamination. Conditioners enrich the gel coat to increase the shine and slickness. Use this shampoo as often as needed. It will not cause detergent burn and it is biodegradable. In fact, Meguiars M5416 Mirror Glaze Boat/RV Gel Wash #54 is so gentle that it will not remove wax. Your boat or RV will stay protected through several washes, requiring less frequent wax applications.
