Black WOW should be applied to clean, dry exterior trim right before you wash the vehicle. Use an all purpose cleaner to remove dirt and old dressings. Then apply Black WOW using a foam applicator pad. Apply a pea-sized amount and rub it thoroughly and evenly over the desired surface. The finish should be matte. If it is shiny, buff with a towel to remove excess. Wash the vehicle and wipe down the trim with the wash mitt. You will not completely remove Black WOW. You’ll just remove any excess to achieve a very thin coat. This coat will protect and enhance the trim for months!
Black WOW is only for colored plastic exterior trim. It should not be used on tires, steps, or on any surface that should not be slick. Avoid the paint. Black WOW is not harmful to paint but it can be challenging to remove. Use painter’s tape to mask off surrounding paint if desired.
