2 CCS Yellow 6.5 inch Cutting Foam Pads
Use the yellow cutting foam pad to apply compounds or polishes to remove severe oxidation, swirls, and scratches. It is the most aggressive and should not be used on new or like-new paint finishes. Always follow this pad with an orange pad and a fine polish and then a white pad to refine the paint until it is smooth.
2 CCS Orange 6.5 inch Light Cutting Foam Pads
Firm, high density foam for scratch and defect removal. Use the orange light cutting foam pad with polishes and swirl removers. It’s an all around pad that will work on most light to moderate imperfections.
2 CCS White 6.5 inch Flat Polishing Foam Pads
The white polishing foam pads feature high absorption foam for the application of waxes, micro-fine polishes and sealants. The polishing pad has very light cleaning power so it’s perfect for pre-wax cleaners.
2 CCS Gray 6.5 inch Finishing Foam Pads
Composition is firm enough to withstand added pressure during final finishing to remove buffer swirls. The gray finishing foam pads has no cut and will apply thin, even coats of waxes, sealants, and glazes.
2 CCS Blue 6.5 inch Finessing Foam Pads
The blue finessing foam pad has soft composition for applying glaze, finishing polish, sealants, and liquid waxes. It is the softest of all the pads and can be used for product removal if desired.
4 Cobra 6 inch Microfiber Bonnets
These six-inch Cobra™ microfiber bonnets are well-made, reversible, and machine washable. With a 70/30 blend, they are super soft and gentle on all paint finishes. Cover your foam pad directly or layer them over the lamb’s wool leveling pad for a more cushioned application. Either way, they are superior at applying products, polishing and shining.
1 Lambswool Leveling Pad
The lambswool pad is best used as a cushion underneath a bonnet on your Porter Cable 7424XP. The wool pad serves as a barrier between the bonnet and the backing plate. Unlike foam pads that can be crushed under a bonnet, the lambswool pad retains its shape and can be used for light compounding if you desire.
12 oz. Pinnacle XMT Polishing Foam Pad Cleaner
Pinnacle XMT Polishing Foam Pad Cleaner contains a degreasing agent that breaks up oil and eliminates every last trace of residue. Soap (as in dish soap) can leave a residue of its own, so there is no soap in this cleaner. Intense cleaners and degreasers break up oily deposits left by car care products so the pad rinses completely clean. This pad cleaner is ready to use in a convenient pump spray bottle.
12 oz. Pinnacle XMT Polishing Foam Pad Conditioner
Prevention of dry buffing is as easy as misting an unused pad with Pinnacle XMT Polishing Foam Pad Conditioner. It only takes a couple of spritzes to prep the pad for polishing. The rich lubricants instantly penetrate the pad, softening and conditioning the material. Even if the pad has never been used, it will glide across the paint like you’re halfway through the detail session.
1 Aqua Carpet Brush
This brush is meant for jobs involving rigorous scrubbing. Particularly dense rugs and shag carpets are ideal. The bristles are stiff enough to remove old stains and they will hold up well on heavy-duty carpet. This brush works equally well on tile, grout, and floor pads. Remove the Porter Cable’s backing plate and screw this brush into the machine for powerful carpet cleaning.
Dual Action 5 Inch HD Hook & Loop Backing Plate
Constructed of flexible urethane, this 5 inch backing plate has hook and loop material permanently secured from edge to edge. A recessed edge protects the paint from impact and the post is made of durable stainless steel. The 5/16 inch thread fits any dual action polisher with a corresponding thread.
1 Dual Action 3.5 Inch Flexible Backing Plate
A smaller version of our 5 and 6 inch plates, this 3.5 inch backing plate is designed for 4 inch pads. The 3.5 inch plate has a 5/16” threaded post that screws directly into the Porter Cable 7424XP. Use any of the Spot Buffs pads, Lake Country 4 inch pads, or Cyclo 4 inch pads to correct small areas of paint or to polish particular spots.
2 CCS White 4 inch Polishing Pads
This pad features high absorption foam for the application of waxes, polishes and sealants. This pad has very little cutting power and works well for application purposes. It’s made of soft, porous foam so it’s gentle on your paint. They’re also perfect for polishing metal wheels, bumpers, and mirror covers.
2 CCS Orange 4 inch Light Cutting Pads
The orange pad is an excellent, multi-purpose pad. It can be used with your polisher to remove light scratches on paint, or with plastic and chrome polishes. It is less abrasive than the yellow pad and is used ideally for polishing chrome or aluminum wheels and bumpers.
1 Duo-Spur Pad Cleaning Tool
The Duo-Spur has three side-by-side wheels with raised teeth. As the pad spins on the buffer, roll the Duo-Spur over the pad. It will soften and reshape the pad while pushing excess product out. The agitation of the Duo-Spur and the buffer make cleaning fast and effortless. Abrasive plates on each side of the Duo-Spur are used for leveling uneven foam.
