A new paint application on a vehicle takes 30 days to completely cure. During that time, your new vehicle is too delicate for waxes or sealants. Yet it still needs maintenance to look its absolute best. 3M Imperial Hand Glaze was formulated especially for this sensitive time in your vehicle’s life. It nourishes new paint and brings out a deep, glossy luster. Reflections in your hood will look as crisp as if it were a mirror. And 3M Hand Glaze is gentle and nonabrasive. It will pamper your new paint application until it’s ready for its first waxing.
Once paint is cured, use 3M Imperial Hand Glaze before wax for that unmistakable shimmer it had when it was new. This gentle formula contains no protective ingredients so you’ll need to follow it with 3M’s Perfect- It Show Car Paste Wax to seal in that stunning shine. Regular use of the glaze followed by a wax will prolong your vehicle’s perfect paint.
To use 3M Imperial Hand Glaze, start with a clean, dry vehicle. Shake the glaze well and pour a small amount onto a clean, soft applicator pad or microfiber towel. Rub the glaze onto the surface with a firm, circular motion, spreading evenly. Using another clean towel, wipe the surface clean. Polish your vehicle to a brilliant, wet-looking shine. Remember to seal in that luster with a coat of wax.
3M Imperial Hand Glaze is far too gentle for older, already-damaged paint finishes. It contains no silicones or waxes, which would be beneficial for a faded finish. For older vehicles, try 3M Finesse- It II Machine Polish for use with an orbital buffer.
