The liquid gel will not remove wax or damage clear coats, but it will wash away all the grime that has accumulated since your last wax. 3M Car Wash Shampoo contains no inorganic phosphates, which can reduce water quality if introduced into the natural environment. For best results, pour an ounce of 3M Car Wash Shampoo into a bucket and fill with a steady stream of fresh water to activate the suds. Thoroughly soak the entire vehicle from top to bottom to rinse away excess dirt. Using a natural sea sponge, a chenille or sheepskin wash mitt submerged in the sudsy water, gently wash your vehicle from top to bottom. Rinse and re-soak your wash mitt frequently to avoid rubbing loose dirt across the paint. Rinse with free flowing water, generously. Dry the entire automobile to avoid water spots.
