Break the tension with the 3M Perfect-It Plus Foam Polishing Pad! 3M's convoluted, wavy foam breaks the surface tension between the pad and the paint, so the pad glides over the paint without skipping. Apply polishes and waxes smoothly and evenly with 3M's patented foam.
A flat foam pad can sometimes skip over the paint. Many detailers tilt the pad slightly to eliminate this problem but that could cause buffer marks. The 3M Perfect-It Plus Foam Polishing Pad makes polishing easier with a wavy surface that allows air flow between the pad and paint. You can polish with the pad flat against the paint, as it should be. The valleys in the foam also help hold polish to reduce splatter and waste.
The 3M Perfect-It Plus Foam Polishing Pad is 8 inches in diameter. Use it with a 7 inch rotary backing plate on any rotary (circular) polisher with a 5/8 inch shaft. Hook and loop backing provides a secure hold on the backing plate during operation.
