3M Fine Cut Rubbing Compound saves you time and effort! Most compounds leave deep swirl marks that take a lot of extra time to polish out. 3M Fine Cut Rubbing Compound leaves a very fine, shallow compounding haze that takes less time to remove. Just a few passes with a finishing polish will bring back the gloss.
Use 3M Fine Cut Rubbing Compound on all types of paint, including clear coats. It contains no silicones, waxes, or fillers. This professional grade compound removes imperfections completely to restore a showroom shine to your vehicle.
Apply 3M Fine Cut Rubbing Compound with a rotary polisher for the best results. Apply a bead of compound onto a compounding foam pad and spread it over a 2 x 2 sq. ft. section with the polisher turned off. Turn on the polisher and gradually increase speed as you work the compound back and forth until it becomes a thin film. Use a soft Cobra Microfiber Towel to buff off residue. Light compounding swirls are normal. Use 3M Finesse-It II Machine Polish to refine the paint to a flawless shine.
