The 3M Clean Sanding 3 Inch Disc Backing Plate Kit has hook and loop fasteners to securely hold 3M sanding and finishing discs. Vents in the backing plate extract dust from the work surface. Five included adapters work with a variety of dual action polishers and orbital sanders.
The 3M Clean Sanding 3 Inch Disc Backing Plate has a flexible beveled edge to lessen the risk of coming into contact with the paint. The backing plate is constructed of foam material to dampen vibration. Operate the 3M Clean Sanding 3 Inch Disc Backing Plate at a maximum speed of 15,000 RPM/OPM.
Use the 3M Clean Sanding 3 Inch Disc Backing Plate Kit with the 3M Trizact Hookit 3 Inch Foam Discs or 3M Hookit Finishing Film 3 Inch Discs.
